Susan Kiernan-Lewis has managed to slip an entire series of books under my radar of which Ruthless is only one. Sadly, it’s also the last one in the series which is, in my opinion at least, the worst to give away because it means while we lust for details (and therefore might make sales) we are also left without information when we read the book.
I enjoyed Ruthless despite this and if you’re looking for a serial killer thriller this is certainly as good as any other and it maintains a perfect 5-star rating on Amazon at the moment. I am a little irked that I will now be reading the rest of the series already knowing the end. But I suppose at a price of free, it’s churlish to complain?
